Peter Chambers

Mr Peter Chambers is the Group Head of Asset Care at Dublin International Airport, Ireland. He received his BSc in Mining Engineering from University of Nottingham and an Executive MBA from Sheffield University. 

Peter’s varied career spans 12 years in mining operations management with British Coal England, 6 years Whiskey Operations in central Scotland and 10 years as Director of Manufacturing for C&C Group Ireland making various beverages including Bulmers/Magners ciders

Thereafter he made the move to daa and is the Group Head of Asset Care, where he is responsible for the asset management of Ireland’s two busiest airports. 

During his time at daa he has significantly contributed to the opening of the new Terminal 2 at Dublin, got the business accredited as the first airport in the world to achieve ISO 55001 accreditation, ISO 50001 energy management standard and are working on many new innovative processes including a new pavement management system.
