Katarina Ekelund

Katarina Ekelund is the Director of Asset Management Heat Sweden, responsible for the long-term development and profitability of the Vattenfall Heat assets in Sweden.

Katarina has more than 10 years’ experience from various positions in Vattenfall Heat covering the full value-chain including sales, project management, construction and operation of Heat grids, IT and Asset Management. She is passionate about bringing all these disciplines and the organization together to make new insights and develop the business in the new energy landscape emerging. During her years at Ericsson one of her responsibilities was the worldwide market launch of Edge.

Katarina is an engineer in industrial economics with a MSc from KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm.
